Hello, everyone, and welcome to another edition of Mormon Stories podcast.

I'm your host, John Delin.

It is March 26, 2021.

And I am in a super good mood today, partly because I am caffeinated, but not in the

way that you think this is a happy occasion.

I am super excited for today's episode.

Today's episode is something that to me represents the culmination of 20 years of work.

And it's a celebration of sorts, but it's a measured celebration.

It's a cautious celebration because, you know, we still have a long way to go.

And anytime that we do an episode where we are celebrating some positive steps within

the Mormon experience, there are also going to be people that are triggered by that because

they're going through the really painful parts or they have trauma related to Mormonism.

And when you're in that space of anger and sadness and frustration, you don't want

to hear ever anything good.

You only just want to hear Burn It All The F Down.

And I just want to begin by acknowledging those of you who are in a space where you don't

want to hear anything positive.

This is a positive trigger warning.

You may be triggered by positivity today.

And if you are, practice self-care, which can mean shut this off, pause it, don't listen

to it, come back later, because we are going to be talking about some positive things related

to Mormonism.
