For a long time I've wanted you to meet my friend Joy. Joy works at Wei FM and recently

her team went through a Story Brand private workshop to help them clarify their message.

Some of the problems we were having before the workshop is that we all had, I think, different ideas

of what our company was aiming to do and what our goals were.

And so because there were so many different ideas

and so many cooks in the kitchen,

I think we all were doing the best we could

to live out the idea that we had as our goal and our defining statement but they didn't all line up.

The private workshop got everybody on the same page in a really simple way because there was a

facilitator and oftentimes we all are sharing

what's important for our department

and what we deal with every day.

But having one person there just really streamlined

that we all can come together at least

in one area and one goal goal and he was able to take

all those ideas and magically make it into like one thing. One of the ways that my

job's gotten easier since doing Story Brand is that every single day I think I have a new filter with

which to run through everything I'm doing and make sure it's aligning with the

goals of the company so that it's going to be the best success that it can.
