| 0:00.0 | Hello and welcome to episode 141 of the physician assistant exam review podcast. |
| 0:04.4 | We're going to continue this week with our interviews of students who were struggling and |
| 0:07.5 | turned things around. |
| 0:20.5 | Heather is a student who worked with me with me for a long time, was very skeptical about my methods, |
| 0:25.6 | honestly because she had a lot riding on it. |
| 0:27.6 | And I totally understand that. |
| 0:29.6 | We went back and forth a lot before she decided to work with me. |
| 0:31.6 | But you can see from her interview, just some of the things she tried to change, some of the |
| 0:35.6 | places where she was a super confident, really good student, great person, and found herself just in this position that she thought she needed some help. And I'm not saying that everyone needs help. Certainly, that's not the point. But the point is that some minor changes can make some big differences. I think there's a lot you can take away from this, whether you're struggling, whether you're doing well. There's a lot she has to say that's going to be really, really helpful. On top of that, I know some students have been saying recently that there's having a little bit tougher time finding jobs upon graduation. Now, I do think that that's possible, and I think it may be true that the market's tightening a little bit. I do also think that we've been spoiled for a very long time. So I think that doing some minor, again, just some minor |
| 1:15.8 | tweaks, some minor things, adjustments in the way that you do things can have a huge, huge |
| 1:19.5 | difference. So we're going to get to interview in just a second. Oh, wait, before we get |
| 1:23.6 | started, this week for, hey, happy PA week. For PA week, I am hosting a tremendous |
| 1:30.7 | giveaway. You can find it at www.physician assistant,examine review.com backslash giveaway. And what you'll |
| 1:37.0 | find there is over $2,500 in pants prep materials, including access a one completely free scholarship to the November |
| 1:46.8 | cohort of 33 days to pass the pants. Now whether in didactic year, whether you are in clinicals, |
| 1:51.2 | no matter where you are, this course is incredibly valuable for building skills and creating |
| 1:56.3 | some new ideas for ways of going about things. It also includes a copy of the final step. It includes |
| 2:00.8 | one-on-one training with me covering any topic that you like. It's something I don't normally do |
| 2:06.5 | at this stage. So the only way to get it would be to win this giveaway. But here's the cool part. |
| 2:11.4 | Not only do you get it if you win, there's a system where you can refer people into the giveaway. |
| 2:16.2 | And when you do, you get three more entries into the random drawing, but here's the better part. If someone you refer wins, you win two. So I'm giving away three, two packages, but one goes to the random drawing and the other goes to the person who referred the person who won. So it's gonna be a ton of fun for PA week. Really, really excited about it. Excited about the new November cohort coming out and registration for that starting next week. |
| 2:37.0 | There's so much going on here. |
