I remember that whenever I was outside with my home with

my kids, like if we were at a park, running errands, riding bikes, whatever, anything outside of the

home, I truly felt like a happier mom. I was more relaxed. I was able to laugh more and like kind

of cut loose, connect with my inner child and my children,

and just didn't have a ton of stress.

But the second we got home from whatever we were doing and I walked through the door,

sometimes I felt like I just turned into a completely different mom, like a she-hulk.

Like I was instantly triggered by piles of stuff

everywhere at tours that were screaming my name, toys, countertop mess, everything. And I was just

like, oh, I just don't even want to come home some days. Have you ever felt this way? Is it just me?

Especially on days where I was already stressed by work or life or whatever it was.

And just coming home to a mess is so frustrating for so many of us.

hindsight 2020, but they're like, oh, Katie, I subconsciously avoided being home. Like,

after work, I'd go to the grocery store every night. It wasn't necessary for me to go to the

grocery store on my way home, but I did. And all it was doing was just delaying the inevitable
