2, where we are talking about 80-year-old socialite Muriel Collins Barnett.

Now, this story has a lot of twists and turns.

And to some, those twist and turns might seem just a little bit judgy, but this all really

happened.

There's lots of personal details are divulged that today may not seem relevant, but back

when the story happened, this was a huge deal.

In fact, Edmonton Journal said twists and turns worthy of an Agatha Christie novel. That's intense. Yeah, so we are going to

start out with, like we said, Muriel Collins Barnett and her husband, Philip Barnett.

They were a well-to-do family, and he was a lawyer in San Francisco who had passed away in January

of 1984 of a heart attack. Now, the couple did not have any children. It was just the two of them

for their whole marriage. So when he passed away, he left his

wife Muriel $3.7 million. And they were well off before that as well. This is just what she got

when he passed. They lived in a very ritzy area. They were worth about $6 million aside from what
