Zevrovine selections and has quite a substantial portfolio that is amassed in a fairly small amount of time.

Zev, why don't we just take it from the top?

Some of your first experiences with wine, how you got into the trade, what made you think like,

hey, you know, maybe I'm going to bring some stuff over from Europe?

How did it all happen?

Well, I think that wine has sort of always been part of my life. My stepfather drank wine growing up.

I remember collecting the little bulls and the country

Toro bottles. Oh okay sure you know I don't know if they still do it. Yeah they still

put those in. Yeah. Sengra. Senguegabalo. Yeah. Yeah so I guess I was sort of always around it. My stepdad lived in Europe for a big portion of his life, so he had real wine culture and food culture as part of, that was part of my upbringing and that's certainly where you're still based I mean you're a big man on the Brooklyn scene you know

I guess I'm a man in the Brooklyn scene.

Yeah, yeah.

So, you know, I didn't get into wine

in a professional capacity until college and after college, obviously,

not until then,

that when I was working in restaurants

and kind of learning through the trade,

putting myself through college and after that through playing

music and putting myself through music, trying to earn a living.
