so this week on the show, we are continuing

the wastelands with Chapter 4, Town and Cotet. The Cotet gets its fifth member, the belly bumbler,

Oi, and then heads into River Crossing for a feast and a palaver with some very old people

that are definitely not elves. Then the team heads towards the city of Ludd before having one final

content palaver.

It's a chapter of mythology, exposition, and conversation.

It's basically the Council of Elrond.

Matt, what did you think of this week's reading?

Yeah, I mean, really, really delightful stuff.

Very, very tonally different from most of the entire

story up to this point.

You know, just like the council of Elrond and Lord of the Rings, this is like a break.

This is a little vacation.

It's a little interlude of happiness and goodness and relaxation to ground our characters

in some humanity, some positive feelings, positive emotions before we throw them into

whatever hell is about to come.
