Jeremy received his PhD from Wheaton College and he serves as the pastor at Reality LA in California.

He's the author of a fantastic book entitled The Crucified King.

I just, we cannot more heartily recommend this book.

It is fantastic. J.T. tells the story on the

episode today of the first time he read it, which was maybe not the best time to

read the book since he was about to teach on the subject within 48 hours, but

it drastically reshaped the way that J.T. Jen and myself think through

communicating the cross, particularly in the gospel narratives.

And on this episode, we discussed the connection between the kingdom of God and the cross of Christ.

And ask the question, could it be that the cross, the crucifixion of Jesus, is really an enthronement

ceremony.
