I've got continuing special coverage for you this morning about those November election results because they are still shaping America and the world.

Let's be getting in Florida this morning, where Donald Trump is sitting with his team and choosing yet more cabinet officials.

Yesterday's big surprise was the new Attorney General, or AG, pick, and that is set to be the

0:43.3

former Representative Matt Gates of Florida. Now, a lot like the Pentagon pick, Mr. Gates was not

Mr. Gates is promising to be a faithful warrior to both Mr. Trump and the law.

1:47.4

Finally, Trump's staff is warning career DOJ prosecutors this morning that if they plan to be part of the Democrat resistance, they should leave or expect to be fired.

1:57.1

2:13.3

And following up on that is very much something that Mr. Gates is prepared to do, finding and firing those Democrat supporters in the DOJ who would unlawfully undermine Trump's constitutional authority.

2:24.3

In other words, and in short, Mr. Trump needs someone who is deeply loyal to the law and loyal to his political priorities.

2:31.4
