| 1:12.2 | speedy choices for his cabinet. Mr. Pete Hegseth is slated to be our next Secretary of Defense. |
| 1:18.5 | And that's a relatively big surprise. He was not on Trump's expected shortlist. So, by way of |
| 1:23.7 | quick background and introduction for folks unaware, Mr. Hegseth is currently a morning TV host on Fox and Friends, but more importantly, he is an Army veteran who has long been focused on veteran affairs well before he went into TV. |
| 1:36.8 | He also has two bronze stars. |
| 1:39.3 | His critics, mostly Democrats, say that he is wildly inexperienced and certainly not ready for the big role. |
| 1:45.6 | So by way of quick analysis and opinion on that, it's quite something to me this morning that folks in the Democrat Party are upset on this regarding Mr. Heggseth because Joe Biden currently has dementia and he is our current commander in chief technically. |
| 2:00.3 | And yet these same Democrats |
| 2:01.4 | are not complaining about that. So that's kind of strange. Anyway, it is fair to debate Mr. |
| 2:06.7 | Hegseth and his credentials, but as we do for him and others, really, I would encourage us to |
| 2:12.6 | remember that experience is absolutely important, yes, but so too are judgment, wisdom, and discernment. |
