| 0:00.0 | Welcome to Seltzer Squad, the podcast about staying sober in the city with your host, Kate Sander and Jess Valentine. |
| 0:23.0 | Hi, Jess. |
| 0:24.2 | Hello, Kate. |
| 0:26.5 | What are we talking about today? |
| 0:27.6 | You tell me. |
| 0:35.0 | Today I want to talk about major milestones because I have my three years soberversary coming up. |
| 0:35.3 | Yay! So happens to land on your birthday. Yeah. I love that. It's so weird. |
| 0:41.2 | Yeah. It's both of our special day. Exactly. So I wanted to talk about some things that I've learned |
| 0:46.8 | in three years sober. I went through some of my old journals to just kind of read about where I was at and where I'm at now. |
| 0:53.8 | And also while going through these things that I've learned, I kind of read about where I was at and where I'm at now. And also, while going through |

| 1:08.0 | So I think it'll be a good hot and cold of... I'm excited to hear all |
| 1:12.5 | these things. So in my three years of not drinking, some things have definitely transformed. |
| 1:18.2 | And I'd say the first thing that was brought to my attention a couple weeks ago, I was at a |
| 1:22.9 | sober event, a bridge club event. And one of the women I met in Bridge Club was at the event. And |
| 1:29.8 | she leaned over and she said something about how she still thinks about drinking every single |
| 1:35.3 | day. And that was like so weird to me because- Was this the one that I went to with you? |
| 1:40.0 | No, it was the one I went to by myself. It was the panel. And I was talking to a girl who I know there, and she said, you know, when do you stop thinking about it every day? And it was so surprising to me because I would say that that happened earlyish on. But I can confidently say I definitely don't think about alcohol every day anymore at all. I don't either. |
| 2:01.7 | Like it doesn't even occur to me that it's a thing. |
| 2:04.4 | You know, Nan's even asked me the other day. |
| 2:06.8 | You know, she mentioned it. |
