Alice and I'm joined as always by my Epicurean co-host Brett.

Epicurean. Is that because we went out for dinner last night, Alice, to a nice restaurant?

That was like the best dinner I've had in years. It was really nice. It was a business dinner of sorts. I guess that's where we're calling it.

But we just, we have so much to celebrate it. We decided to go out for dinner. We took our spouses to

the nicest restaurant in town I think and it was really good. It was amazing. Like

it was handmade pasta and handmade pasta. I mean there's just, I don't know, the love that goes into molding the pasta ribbons.

But we had, I think, every type of pasta there was on the table, and we ate from everyone's plate and it was just incredible.

Really one of the best meals I had in a very long time.

It was very much family style.

My wife had Noki and it was out of this world.

Good.

I felt bad for her because she definitely had probably the best dish at the table so everyone just kept eating off her plate.

It's true. That's true. She was a trooper. She took one for the team so but no it was Alice, it's always good to see you outside of the office and the recording studio.

Not that I ever see you in the recording studio, but it was good. It was good. It was good.

It was so good to see you guys. And know so you know we both put our kids with

their babysitters and as we were driving to the

restaurant. The heavens opened up and it was like one of those amazing summer storms. The sky was lighting up with lightning and thunder and the rain was just like a sheet like we had to put on our blinkers and drive slowly.

And we ran through the rain.

It was only like a block, but we still were completely drenched

to the bone when we made it to the restaurant,
