More on that later. Today's expression is, oh, I had a long week. I had a long week. I had a long week. Yeah. When it comes to Thursday, Friday, this expression can be very useful. Sometimes we use it on a Wednesday.

It's possible. What was the expression? I had a long, L-O-N-G, week. I had a long week.

Well, a week is seven days, and in America, our weeks go from Sunday to Saturday.

So Monday through Friday is the work week, Saturday, Sunday, the weekend.

If you look at the calendar, it goes from Sunday to Saturday, seven days. I had a long week. What does that mean? That means you were very busy

or very stressed. Something was taking up lots of your time and making the week difficult. Usually when we say I had a long week, that means Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, today, Thursday, Friday, I've been working so hard. I'm very exhausted. And if you say I had a long

week, that means you are very happy the weekend is coming because you need to relax. You need to

rest. So what about you? For most of you, today is Thursday.

Did you have a long week? Are you looking forward to relaxing this weekend? I hope you have that chance.

For me, my weekends are the busy time. That's when I do my

live classes, because that's when you, most of you, have the most free time. So I could say,

oh, I had a long weekend. I had a long weekend. When you say this expression, sound

tired. Let's listen to a dialogue. You look stressed. Well, I had a long week. Already? What

happened? Just work. I have a new project that's taking forever.

Oh boy. You look stressed. Somebody who looks stressed looks very tired. They might even look angry.

Yeah, I feel sorry for people who look stressed.

Many times you can see a mother at the supermarket with two children who are crying.
