boldly in a chaotic culture. Recently a woman commented on social media about the views of the youth pastor of her church. She quoted him as saying, in my opinion,

red letters, Jesus's words, are the most important in all the Bible. The woman rightly

pointed out that this reflects an incomplete view of scripture referencing

Hebrews 412 which states, quote, for the word of God is alive and active, sharper than any

double-edged sword. It penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints, and marrow.

It judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Some progressive Christians will say that the word of God is Jesus himself, not the Bible.

For Christians who are trying to live their lives according to God's word, this can be incredibly

confusing, since it can seem like Christians disagree on who or what the word of God even is.

We'll unpack these ideas in today's podcast, but first here's an
