Welcome to So Money, everybody. I'm Farneesh Karabi. Happy Friday. I am really looking forward

to the weekend and the week because I am going on vacation. I will be out of the office for the

next, I don't know, I guess it's nine days. Family and I are venturing to Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

Some of you know, I'm from Massachusetts, born in Worcester, Worcester, and as a kid,

we went to Cape Cod once or twice as a kid, I recall. We didn't really vacation a lot as a kid,

to be honest. Not for pleasure at least. We went to Arizona to see my aunts and we went to

Germany once to see an uncle, but it was never like, let's go to Cancun or let's go to the vineyard

or, you know, we weren't adventurers like that. We were usually running away from death.

As I'll write about in my fourth coming book, A Healthy State of Panic, it all worked out,

though, as an adult now with as a mom, as a wife, as an explorer, I like to go, you know,

beyond my confines. And so I've actually booked a lot of travel. Cape Cod is this week and then

we're going to, I think, let's see, France, fingers crossed for us, right? Because it's a big gamble

to, I feel like book an international trip right now, but we're going to go to fingers crossed

France in November, San Diego in December to see my brother and his girlfriend and my aunt,
