It's because the radar was, that was our only ranging source.

And if the borsight was wrong, it might look like the Pippers on the target, but it's ranging something, you know, 10 degrees off axis, a thousand yards away or whatever.

So anyway, so just some really interesting stuff.

Being a test pilot, for me me comes down to like two things.

We're all control freaks.

We want to make sure the thing does what we want it to do when we want it to do it.

And that's flight controls, controls of a pod, controls or radar.

And then it's all about database decisions, right? You know, because I like to say without data, you know, you're just another person with an opinion.
