I was training going. I was preseason. It's been good. It's just like a brand new team. There's

like half and half. There's like half newbies and half oldies. So it's just like, it's just

reinventing ourselves really. Because I mean, I feel like we've been kind of the same

red stars for the past eight years and now that's not going to be the case.

Do you feel like there's like a divide at first when it's two different groups? Or does

your team mesh right away? And like, you know, sometimes it's even a whole knowledge

of freshmen. It was always like an awkward little huddle of all the newbies together.

But yeah, no, no, that's definitely. I feel like that's still the case, but it's more

on like the younger ones. Like they're not really sure. I mean, you look at our team

we're pretty old. Like a lot of us are approaching, well, older soccer years, but we're

approaching our 30s. A lot of people, there's got a bunch in our 30s. So I feel like they're

coming in 22 and they're like, oh my gosh, like, who are these girls? They've been around,

you know, they probably watched the league, you know, who we are. But I feel like that

breaks the then like the first week or two. Like I feel like everything's totally normal

now. Like do you have conversations with them? Like you've known them for a whole season

at this point. It doesn't take long to break in to that. Isn't that funny? How that happens

with soccer teams? Like you cannot know anyone. And then you become weirdos and best friends

in like seven days. Exactly. It just takes like one thing that you're like, oh shit,

we have that in common. And you're like, yep, okay, we're best friends now. I swear

soccer players are a different breed. Like you can just mesh, you know, it's right now.
