Hey everybody, we're back with another Power Talk Friday on a well-designed business. And I'm so happy to tell you that I have Charlotte Safavi with me today. And Charlotte is a London-born Oxford University-educated writer and stylist. She has written for national shelter magazines such as Better Homes and Gardens, traditional home, house beautiful, HGTV magazine, Southern Living, New York Cottages and Gardens, Lux Interiors and Design, Southern Home, This Old House, Cottage Style and Bungalows, style at home, and many more.

And I'm reading this list here of all the publications that Charlotte has written in,

and it's making me think of how many times I've read those same lists for each of the

interior design guests that we've had on here that have been published in these magazines.

So today we're going to look at it from the other side, the writer's side. So welcome to the show, Charlotte. Hello. So here's the thing.

Not only is Charlotte a writer for these national publications and these shelter magazines

in four interiors. And Charlotte also does lifestyle writing and

travel writing. But for our purposes, obviously, we're going to focus on interiors. But Charlotte

has sort of morphed her career into a little twist here. And she's gone out and niched herself,

which everybody knows. We know that that's a great thing to do, that really now brings it in addition to her skill in her career as a writer of interiors
