I've been getting a lot of questions recently on social media related to shipping,

related to shipping, importing, exporting from China overseas,

how to deal with all that kind of stuff. I also feel like in my coaching program, a lot of

questions coming through from my students privately have been questions related to shipping quotes

and shipping terms, DDP, DDU, like all sorts. You're going to hear all sorts of these little terms

thrown around once you start, you know, sourcing from suppliers overseas. And I don't think

I've done an episode yet, specifically talking about F-O-B and EXW. And it is something that

very, very likely will come up if you're sourcing overseas, over most likely in Asia. So I wanted to break

it down for you in this episode. So I'm going to try to keep it as simple as possible. Let's just

jump right into it today. What's the difference between FOB and EXW? Which shipping method is right for you?

First, let's define the two.

F-O-B stands for free on board. And this is a port-to-door shipment. And again, we're going to go

through each of these, but let's just give a general definition first of all here. So F-O-B stands

for free on board, and that is a port-to-door shipment. EXW is short for XWorks and this is referring to a door to door shipment.
