the power of right. Self talk. Self talk. What do you say when you talk to yourself? Everybody talks to

themselves or saying something either out loud or silently. That's not the question. That's why this is

right self-talk. If you look up the definition of self-talk, it talks about the practice or act

of talking to oneself, either aloud or silently.

And so we do this all day. And what we don't realize sometimes, I believe, is the impact it has

on our attitude, on our body language, on our energy, on so many of the traits, the eight traits

that we should be bringing every day. And it's like the world

is throwing enough at us that is, you know, not very uplifting. It can be negative, setbacks,

disappointments, losses, defeats, critics, whatever, that we don't need to add to it. And so we

need to push some of that other stuff out by putting some of the right things in. And you do have

control over your self-talk. I mean, that's one of the liberating things about it. You just have

to be more conscious of it. I like the word self-aware. Hopefully at the end of this episode,

you'll be more self-aware of what you are saying to yourself and the impact it's having on you

or could have on you if you would change it

or it's having on you if you don't change it. So when you look at the four groups, undertakers,

caretakers, playmakers, and game changers that I talk about in my book Unstoppable and that I talk

about a lot here, when you think of the eight traits that the game changers bringing more often,

more effort, energy, enthusiasm, excellence, passion, attitude, focus, and integrity, doesn't it kind of make sense

that one of the reasons, one, that they're able to bring more of that is they're saying the right
