Have you ever planted your garden and you have such high hopes for the fruit and vegetables and herbs that are going to be coming your way in a few months?

And then you walk outside one morning and discover it all gone.

That happened to me my first season with brand new strawberry plants.

I couldn't wait to have my first strawberries, and I realized very

quickly that I had a problem with some kind of animal that wanted my strawberry plants just as

much as I did. From hearing you, I know that I'm not alone. In fact, deer, rabbits, squirrels, and all

other sorts of wildlife are a big threat to our gardens.

The quicker we learn to prevent them, the better off we're going to be.

Personally, I have had an ongoing war with rabbits on my property, and so far I'm winning.

But you never know.

A lot of our protection measures have had to do with trial and error

in trying to see what works and what doesn't,

and I've had a lot of disappointments along the way.
