You know, I read quite a bit and every now and then I read a book that makes me kind

of stop in my tracks and say, oh man, you know, I'm in trouble.

And by trouble, I mean, I need to take a hard look at my life.

And that's exactly what happened when I read a book

by author Kevin Wells called Priest and Beggar,

the heroic life of Venerable Alloish of Schwartz.

It's one of those books that's so moving on so many levels.
