episode. So today, this is a treat. I get to interview Bennett Richardson. He is the chief

got to chat with them a little bit via email. They just did this really cool influencer event out in

Chicago where they let the various different influencers come out and get to meet with the top

brass at the National Association of Realtors. I was supposed to make it. I had to cancel last second

due to an illness and so I missed out. So I begged him to come on the show to give me some updates

and he is here today. Bennett, how's it going? Aaron, thanks so much for having me on. Glad you're feeling better and excited to chat with you and your listeners. Yeah, we get to have our virtual chat instead and then hopefully I still get to meet up with you in person. I know you guys have a bunch of events going on this year. I know there's going to be some more chance for that.

So how did the event go a couple weeks ago?

And was the first of many of these kinds of events, but really it was something that we've

So I've been with NAR about nine months, so joined last summer. And one of the things that we really wanted to do as we brought on, you know, both myself and

started to really bring on a new communications team and think about how we approach NAR's communications

to meet this new moment that we're in, and really transforming the association, association was one just to really open the doors

and make sure that everyone that's having important conversations in real estate, everyone who has,

like you have tons of real estate professionals and realtors as your listeners and viewers and

audiences, that you have an opportunity to have a conversation, have a dialogue with NAR.

And that's just something that the association just hadn't done before.
