We are coming to you live today from the legendary Wesleyan Garden, an iconic theater

right at the center of the campus at Wesleyan University.

So many things that are great have happened here.

It is right here where the remarkable David Sedaris first compared smoking a cigarette

to taking your lungs to the DMV.

It is right here where the first comic of Dunesbury was ever written, a record-breaking event where the first cartoon character ever said the word penis.

It is on this very stage that the genius himself, Mo Rocca, first asked who the ad wizards were that came up with that one.

And just backstage, you'll find the very spot where Paula Poundstone first discovered jackets with shoulder pads.

Also, Garrison Keeler did a bunch of stuff backstage that we are not allowed to talk about.
