Yeah, but were you, do you, because obviously we're the same age, right?

Did you have any aspirations of going to like BIT?

Was it BIT back then or not?

Yes, I remember BIT, of course, Berkeley too.

I mean, I grew up in a small town in the northwest corner of Montana, and that scene was so far away from anything that I ever imagined that I could be a part of.

And I got into a band. So I had a best friend who was two years older than I was. We played rock music. And so then my

whole thing was just about this guy and I were going to move to a city and we're going to,

you know, be in a rock band together. And we actually did that. And I'm still friends with this guy's

name's David Young. We're in a rock band together for a lot of years. But I always had this dream

of like, I wonder what it would be like to go to school

for base. It just seemed, it seemed impossible because I was so far away from, and there was

no one in my zone that was doing it also. So it just seemed like, oh, I'm not. People from my town maybe don't go to Berkeley. They don't go to BIT. Got it. It just, it seemed like the moon. It may as well have been the moon. Yeah. That's so interesting. So how did you, so did you just bypass that completely? Was it like, oh, I just can't go to music school?

Or was there ever a point when you were around sort of late teens, early 20s,

where you were like, oh, actually, I'm going to investigate it some more?

Well, by the time I was college age, I went to college, but I didn't go for music.

What did you do? Because I did communications and political science. I studied for a semester in Edinburgh, too, which was so fun. Get out. You were in Edinburgh? Yeah, man. I was at the university. Yeah. Amazing. Yeah. I have family in Kilmarnik, you know, South of Glasgow. Oh, my, you walk, you Kilmarnock. I've got some, yeah, I actually, I've got two connections there.

I, in Kilmarnik, I bought a dog one time.

And in Edinburgh, I accidentally peed on a police officer's leg once.

So, oh, my God.

Yeah, there's like various things. There's various things that I've done in Edinburgh, you know,

the Edinburgh fringe and all of that.
