Each episode, we dive into the minds of some of the worst criminals in history.

So the case that we are covering today,

oh my God, it has been on my radar for the longest time now.

I also get so many requests to cover today's case,

and all I'm going to say is today's case is a lot.

Oh yeah, they call us the kissing cousins.

Today's case focuses on a young woman called Vera Joe Regal. And Vera, she had intellectual disabilities. She was incredibly vulnerable. And she was very easily manipulated. And she ended up living with one of the most disgusting, disturbing families I have ever come across. And in this family, we are talking incest, physical abuse, sexual abuse, verbal abuse,

bullying, cult-like activity.

It is just so messed up.

I raised my kids not to hit a girl, but if they're going to put their self in a man's place,

then yeah, then do it.

And the ringleader of this family, of this cult-like family, she has sometimes been

referred to as the female Charles Manson, was a woman called Sherry Brooks.

And Sherry Brooks and the Brooks family are pure evil.

Everything that this woman does makes my blood boil.

She makes me so angry.

They took Vera up to the tracks and that they dug out of her like a vision,

that they left her up there to die.

And Shannon said, don't worry about it because she deserved it.

I just don't know how anyone walking this earth can be as evil as Sherry Brooks.

And the worst part about this whole case is that she basically got away with everything.
