Summary

Content warning: coercion, blackmail, extortion, abduction, kidnapping, slavery, sociopathy, psychopathy, intimate partner violence, and attempted murder.

Megan is a loving family woman, equestrian, and survivor of abduction and attempted slavery born in Southern California. Although Megan spent many of her younger years growing her love for horses at her family’s idyllic Colorado stable, her life prior was anything but calm. In fact, Megan was originally named Fallon Daniel, and on November 21st, 1985, Megan’s birth father would attempt to extort $90,000 from the couple who would eventually adopt and raise her. After an unprecedented case that took the media by storm, Megan has joined us to share about all that’s come next for her in her journey and healing. The Broken Cycle Media team is undeniably grateful for my friend’s candor and advocacy, especially as this is the first time she’s shared her story at-large. We are also grateful for Megan’s mother, Susan, who was willing to join us for a short chat, which you will hear within this episode as well.
