Hey everybody and welcome back to I Just Want to talk about the Bible.

My name is Christian Keeter and I live in the southeast of the United States of America with my amazing, beautiful godly wife Lacey

and our two wonderful daughters, Felicity and Serenity. All right, guys, well, today we are going to

be taking a break from our journey through Galatians because I want to share with you guys

something that recently I felt like the Lord shared with me that was very impactful. So my hope

is that it will also be impactful for you as well.

So we're going to begin in John chapter 12, and it's verses 42 and 43 that we're going to be

looking at, but I'm going to back up a few verses to verse 36 just for the sake of context.

So John 12, picking up partway through verse 36, it says this.

When Jesus had said these things, he departed and hid himself from them. Though he had done so many

signs before them, they still did not believe in him. So that the word spoken by the prophet Isaiah

might be fulfilled. Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

Therefore they could not believe, for again Isaiah said he has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart,

lest they see with their eyes and understand with their heart, in turn, and I would heal them.

Isaiah said these things because he saw his glory and spoke of him.

Nevertheless, many even of the authorities believed in him.

But for fear of the Pharisees, they did not confess it, so that they would not be put out of the synagogue,

for they loved the glory that comes from man more than the glory that comes from God.

Okay.

Again, John 12, picking up partway through verse 36, going down through verse 43.

So this is during the final week leading up to his crucifixion.
