Have you ever had a meal or treat that tasted amazing… but left you feeling bloated, tired, or regretful afterward? You're not alone — and today's episode is going to give you a powerful shift in perspective.

This concept comes up all the time in my weekly check-ins with members of The Consistency Course:
👉 We often focus only on taste, and ignore how food makes us feel.

There’s a tipping point — from tastes good, feels good to tastes good, feels bad. The problem is, most people don’t notice until it’s too late.
In this episode, we’ll explore:

  • Real-life examples of indulgence without regret

  • How to recognize that tipping point in the moment

  • Why it’s not just about how much — but how often

  • The difference between enjoyment and sabotage

  • One question that can help you pause before you go too far

This isn’t about restriction. It’s about reclaiming how you want to feel — and learning how to stop before pleasure turns to punishment.

🎯 This is a must-listen if you’ve ever said: “I always regret it afterward.”

Thanks so much for joining me today. Before we get into today's

0:40.1

episode, which is a strategy for food that I find really helpful that I've been sharing with a ton

0:46.2

of my clients. Before we want to get into that, I want to share with you an email that I sent out.

If you're on my list, you might have seen me tell a little bit of this story. But it's different to hear it than to read it, don't you think? So I want to share with you an email that I sent out. If you're on my list, you might have seen me tell a little bit of this story. But it's different to hear it than to read it, don't you think?

So I want to tell you about one of the things my husband hates about me that I think is the reason

1:06.9

so many folks struggle to reach their goals.

1:13.4

And to explain it, I'm going to tell you a little story. Last week, my husband, Chris and I went slightly off Cape. We live on Cape Cod. We went

1:20.4

slightly off Cape to look at some potential investment properties. And we go look at this one property

1:24.8

and it's two small homes on one lot, but then there's like

1:29.3

another part of the lot that's used, it's rented out as parking spots. So we look at it and

1:35.5

we're driving away and we're talking through like the plan, right? So we take the spot that's

1:42.0

currently for parking and we leave the tenants in the existing

1:45.5

two buildings and in the parking one we put up a duplex, right? And we build the duplex and then we

1:53.7

refinance the whole property so that that covers the costs of tearing down the original two and putting a mimicking duplex right there

2:04.3

so that, you know, in a matter of 24 months, instead of having two doors on this property,

2:09.7

we have four doors on this property and it sort of pays for itself. And we're going through
