Now let's get going with today's episode. Well, hello, I don't want to start this week with a question. Do you think

that true love is having butterflies in your stomach before you see someone

or counting the minutes until you're reunited with your love

or that feeling that you absolutely cannot live without that person.

So have you said yes to any of those? I would say no that does not actually indicate true love. Many of you have written into me

asking me to answer this question and so here I am answering it for you. And I'm also including in this episode a list that you can download of all of the points of true love and what it looks like in action. But in order to do that, I really have to start with what true love

isn't. True love isn't jealousy. True love isn't being afraid of what the person you're with is going to do or say or how they're going to judge you.

True love isn't being a possession.

True love isn't deeply believing that someone else completes you.

Because they don't because that is not even possible that is not

even humanly possible for another person to complete you. So let's move into what it is.

Starting with True Love, all of us have different experiences, right? You guys know,

before we can get into what true love looks like in a relationship, let's start with the foundation of true love. And that is self-love. And I know that's not exciting and I know that's not exciting and I know nobody wants to deal with what it means to get that, but that's the truth.
