Hey, guys, this is Joy.

0:20.0

And this is Claire.

0:22.1

I don't even know how to start this episode.

0:24.0

And I was really hesitant to be like chipper because I had this feeling yesterday or I'm like, I think I'm in a midlife crisis.

0:33.8

And I don't know how to talk about it.

0:37.2

I don't know what I thought you were about to say, but that is not it. That's not it. Okay. Let's pause. So let's give a little context into the last, like, 10 days of your life. Oh, my God. When we last left our heroes, Joy and Claire, you hadn't even gone to cadets graduation yet. No. You've been through a lot. I've been through a lot since the last recording. And this is why I hate recording in advance when there's a lot going on. So many reasons because so much happens. And then when I listen to the episode, I'm like, oh my gosh, so much has happened. This is old news. But you can probably tell from my voice

1:11.0

that I'm getting over something. I did have COVID. So that's a fun news alert. Where do I begin? Where do we want to start? I enjoy finally about COVID. That's a good place to start. I wonder if this is how it feels for the great British baking contestants when they like know how the season ends and we're all like freaking out about who goes home in week one.

1:08.6

And they're like old news, old news.

1:10.5

Yeah, that's so true. Pretty much the same.

1:32.3

We're pretty much the making show. I was over it. I was over it. Well, oh my gosh. I don't even know where to

1:38.7

begin, but I will start with cadets graduation. All right. So we go to her graduation on Thursday. We leave Thursday, June 9th.

1:47.9

We get there. I'm so excited. It's just like the most amazing feeling of being able to be reunited with

1:55.4

her. We had the agenda. They're like, okay, you get there at 9. You're going to meet the graduate.

2:00.5

And then you'll have an hour with the graduate, then you'll have an hour with your dog

2:04.1

separately, and then the graduation ceremony. So we were prepared for that. Scott wasn't feeling

2:10.4

great, but he tested every single day, and it was negative. And we think it was allergies,

2:16.1

because we have two huge cottonwood trees in our

2:19.7

backyard, not to mention just the neighborhood has a ton of cottonwood trees. And it's a horrible

2:24.2

time of year where it just looks like snow. It looks like snow is coming down from the sky because

2:28.9

there's so much cottonwood in the air. So we're like chalking it up to allergies. Fine, fine,

2:32.3

fine. And he's worried because he's like,

2:35.6

if this turns into COVID, like, I'm not going to go to graduation. And I'm like, I'm not like willing
