How are you all? Welcome to Homo sapiens extra. As you can imagine, I'm doing what any self-respecting

British person would do on a mid-summer's day. I'm sitting in front of a roaring fire because

it's absolutely freezing in this house. I don't know what's happened, but I'm freezing cold,

so I've had to put the fire on. How are you all doing? Are you enjoying the summer as much as I am?

If you follow my illustrious co-host Alan Cumming on Instagram, you'll see he'd been raising

Mary Hell, i.e. having lots of fun in Adelaide, so that's been fun to watch. I've been

rather enjoying life this side of, um, what's the ocean between England and Australia?

There's probably a few. So I've lit the fire because it's freezing cold. I'm having a curry

tonight, so I've put that in the oven. From cooked, you know, cooked the food place? I think it's

rather good. They make food, but it's healthy, and they freeze it, and then you can cook it from

frozen. Well, I hope you can, because that's what I'm doing. Chicken, tikka, masala, and I'm going to

have it with brown rice because I'm that virtuous kind of person. No white rice for me. I didn't

even know if it's better for you. We'll be getting to more food talking culture club later on,

because we'll be doing a whole thing on what you lot are eating, which is always where I get.

To be quite honest, why I get all my ideas about what I'm going to eat for the week.

What's been going on in the Sweeney household? Well, for those of you who follow us on Instagram,

you will know that it's been an eventful week in the Sweeney household, because I have been

nothing short of under attack, under siege this week, from some very, very hyperactive

crows. So there I am, lying in bed at 4.30 in the morning, minding my own business,
