His Holiness, Pope Leo the 14th, has his first encyclical coming out next week, and it is on the topic of artificial intelligence.

Now, when I first heard this, I was a little bit tempted to roll my eyes like, oh, we need an encyclical on artificial intelligence, AI. You know, what about birth

rates? What about matrimony? What about the traditional family? What about orthodoxy? What about

liturgy? There's so many issues in the church. Clarity on synod out of synonality. What is that?

But as I've thought about it more, I think it's appropriate.

And although I haven't read the encyclical, I've listened to what Pope Leo and other

cardinals, bishops, theologians have said about AI.

And I think I've distilled it down to nine points of what we can expect from Pope Leo. And I think they're valid points. And actually,

the more I studied it and the more I dug into it, the more I realized that AI actually does

touch on all the problems that are in the world,

that are in the church right now, it's going to magnify these problems.

So today, although I am not a prophet, I am not a seer, I can't look into the future.

I'm going to break down to you the nine points that I expect Pope Leo to cover when it comes to artificial intelligence.

The name of the encyclical will be called Magnifica Humanitas, the magnificent humanity, right?

Humanitas, humanity on the protection of human dignity in the age of artificial intelligence, it comes out May 15th. I imagine there's going to be all kinds of

information and debate online, and I thought I'd get ahead of all of it by giving you my

prediction of what it's going to say.

And I feel pretty confident about what it's going to say.

And of course, if I'm totally wrong, a week from now, you can throw tomatoes at me.
