Those awake enough to see and hear are shocked. Disbelief is the common response.

It's disorienting. But I assure you it's real.

Tell one another about it. Talk to one another about it.

We're still working on that. We believe in that. It's important. We're advocates for that.

And if the new administration thrills you and causes you to celebrate good if it causes you grief it's okay

The ability to see a peaceful transfer of power is a part of what has sustained us as a people

This week we're scheduled to get a new president, a new

Congress, new choices, new faces, new responses from the media, no doubt. I think it's

worth being reminded that we have the same king, the same holy spirit, the same heavenly

father, the same promises securing our lives and our futures.

Those are not dependent upon the occupant of Pennsylvania Avenue.

We have the same dependence upon our helper.
