story that we're going to talk about today of course last week 13 year old

Madeline went by Maddie

Maddie soto disappeared prompting a statewide missing child alert

her body was later found in rural Osceola County just days after she was reported missing and

obviously that was worst case scenario.

Stephen Starnes, her mother's boyfriend, is now the prime suspect in Madeline's

murder and is accused of moving her body in the morning hours of Monday, February 26

after killing her in Kissmee. That was all according to the Orange

County Sheriff's Office. The Medical Examiner's Office is still working on

determining her cause of death and today we're going to discuss

with this amazing panel what went wrong here a lot of things obviously broke down

not just you know in the in the system, but there have been some issues after the finding of the body in terms

of the way the investigation has played out,

some photos being posted, things of that nature,

which we will certainly get David Nutting's take on.

But David Nutting didn't get the official bio, so I'm going to have David kind of explained to you a little bit, but he was both in the Orange County and Valusha County departments out of Orlando. He's a retired cold case supervisor in Orange County.
