The Jamison family, Bobby, Sherilyn, and their six-year-old daughter Madison were in a period of

transition and somewhat troubling circumstances just before their disappearance in early October 2009.

When their vehicle was found abandoned with a family dog and $32,000 left inside, many widespread

searches were conducted that resulted in not one shred of evidence being uncovered.

Three years later, two hunters discovered the family's badly decomposed remains a mere 2.7 miles from the location

where their trek had been discovered years prior.

What happened to this family?

Were all three murdered, or did mental illness drive one of them to do something awful?
