In China, Tesla has submitted documents for their new Model 3 performance,

and we can see that the version coming out of Giga Shanghai will have on the dual motor performance,

obviously 137 kilowatt hour,

137 kilowatt, I should say, motor on the front axle, 265 kilowatt motor rear axle, and an LG

battery inside those ones. Tesla is also offering 0.99% APR on their Model Y until the end of the month.

That's a very attractive deal when the average financing for an EV is 6 to 8% in the US right now.

There are 0% deals.

The likes of Hyundai, Ford with a Mustang Marquis doing good deals, and Tesla joining that to shift some metal.

Tesla's factory in Berlin was the victim of

800 protesters and local German police managed to hold them back after they breached the

first set of safety fencing. The group is called Disrupt Tesla and they oppose the factory expansion

and Elon Musk, the CEO responding

online with why he thought the police let the left-wing protesters off so easily were his

words. Nevertheless, there are more protests planned this week in Germany. Fisker is facing a new

NHTSA probe over breaking issues. Among the reports, three incidents

are linked to injuries caused by a sudden deceleration of the vehicle. Biden's new tariffs on

Chinese EVs and solar panels could come in this week. The rumors are anywhere from 25 to 100%

tariffs. Now, 25% is the Trump-era tariffs on Chinese cars.
