A few years ago, I was at a group and I was speaking. It was a very small, intimate group, but I was

speaking, kind of sharing a little bit of information about blogging at this point. And at the end of it, somebody walked up to me that was in the audience. Again,

it was a small group, so I recognized most everybody, but not this guy. And he walked up to me

and said, Alex, I'm recruiting speakers for this conference, a big conference coming to Jacksonville

in a couple months, and I would love for you to speak. In that moment, two things happen inside me. One, my heart fell into

my stomach. I was so nervous just thinking about this. And number two, I knew that I had to say yes.

Now you might be saying, Alex, why did you have to say yes? Here's a deal. At some point, this is going to

happen to you as well. As you're growing in your leadership, you're growing your brand you are just becoming a better entrepreneur you will be asked to speak and if

you want to continue to grow and develop you need to say yes you cannot push it off now you're probably

feeling the same way i did you're like great my heart's in my stomach now right we kind of all

have that same feeling but it's because maybe it's just unknown territory or something that just
