0:03.6	You know I wrote down my goal of being a 2010 141 pound D1 NCA national champion.
0:10.0	So I wrote that down in the morning when I woke up first thing I wake up write it down and then right before bed
0:17.8	I'd you know I'd write it down so I had this regimented
0:22.0	outlook on what I wanted to do throughout the day.
0:27.0	We can endure anything and adapt and pivot and change.
0:32.0	Wrestling gave us that ability. and pivot and change.

0:34.8	I would say nothing in life has impacted me

0:39.6	in terms of self-reflection, resilience.

0:46.0	Adversity, 100% how to pick myself up and be a man after I failed.
0:51.0	And everything that has shaped my life and where I'm at today would not be there
0:56.6	without the values and basically the lessons I've learned through the sport of wrestling.
1:01.0	For me, wrestling saved my life because it allowed me to
1:04.7	focus and channel my energy.
1:07.5	We're fortunate if you wrestle because if you wrestle natural talent helps, but it's 5% of the ingredient.
1:18.1	It pales in comparison to heart and technique and effort. It humbled me, taught me humility. Nothing can humble you more than wrestling.
1:28.6	I think it's the learning to adapt, right? You learn, you learn how to adapt, you learn how to solve problems.
