We talk about how we disagree with some of the other gurus that say go go as big as you can on your first deal. And I don't agree with that. I, you know, I understand the philosophy and I agree with the mindset. I think the motivation and having big goals is important because I have some of the biggest goals you probably meet of anyone. But I think, you know, tactically and in real life and practice, you don't necessarily want to do that.

And so for me, I wasn't willing to take my first rental property and have a $4,000 a month

mortgage.

We're both fans of Warren Buffett and read his books and how we invest, how we can apply those principles to real estate. What's different about stock investing? What's similar? And just a lot of nuance there. And then we also talk about his first deals. He's done six real estate deals. Some of those with his residence, house hacking, some of those with long-distance real estate. We talk about that a lot, how to pick a market, how do you do that as a long-term investor.
