Summary

🎸🏆 Want championship results, but putting in club-level effort? Struggling with something new and feeling discouraged? This episode is for YOU.

Today, I’m sharing three powerful lessons that hit me hard this week—lessons about practice, progress, and why so many of us stay stuck. These aren’t just ideas; they’re truths that will change the way you approach your goals, your struggles, and your success.

Here’s what we’re diving into:

Hard now, easy later. The only way to make something easier is to keep going. Quitting guarantees it stays hard.
Doing the work vs. doing it right. More effort won’t help if you’re reinforcing the wrong habits.
Championship results require championship effort. You can’t train like a casual and expect to win big.

Whether you're working on a skill, trying to lose weight, building a business, or just trying to be better, this episode will challenge you to rethink your approach.

I am very excited about today's episode. I had a handful of experiences this week that hit me

0:43.6

hard in a good way, not in a bad way. They impacted me for the better, help me to dial in

0:52.0

some of my choices and my patterns and really gave me some great insight into where I

0:59.0

have opportunities to do better. And so I feel like if they impacted me in this way,

1:03.5

they might be exactly what you need to hear too. And these lessons from this week,

1:08.4

they come from three different moments. So they might seem like

1:12.1

they're slightly separate. And they are. One came from a personal challenge. Another came from an

1:20.6

insight on coaching. And the third actually came from my husband's rugby banquet. You know,

1:26.3

many of you know, my husband is a club

1:28.5

rugby player, and we had his season banquet that was formal this weekend. I am not a fan of

1:36.8

formality, nor am I a fan of social settings like that. But I got a gift from it. I got a really powerful takeaway. And I think that all of

1:47.9

these might shift your perspective and give you a little push you need to take another step in either

1:52.9

your effort or your growth that will kick your results to the next year. So let's get into the

2:00.3

three of them, shall we? Real, real quick, before we do.
