This is your host, Melina. I hope you're having an amazing day, whatever day you're listening to this on. I'm recording. It's Thursday. It's 7 p.m. I had a very, very busy day, but this week I've really emphasized on moving my body. So I think that that's giving me a lot of energy

because I started looking at how many steps I have been taking per day, and I was averaging

like 4,000, which is very, very sad because I wake up, I walk to my car, which is like

two steps outside of my house, and then I get to work. I go inside my

building. I'm there all day sitting. I get up for lunch to warm up my food. I go back to my desk.

It's like so bad. I used to be so good about moving my body. A lot of things in my schedule

on my phone. So now I'm taking my orthopedic shoes, as my coworkers like to call them. But in

reality, they're my hokas. They're so comfortable. I don't care what anyone says. They kind of look a little, a little funny, but it's like you're walking on clouds. So on my 15 minute breaks, I'm walking. On my lunch, I'm walking. I also notice that sometimes we just eat because it's like, it's dinner time, it's's lunchtime and I'm not saying to stop eating

but I said I don't know amy no mas come or around the office there's always little candy

jars and I'm so bad at that when I see a gummy bear looking at me I'm going to take it

so I'm trying to control myself because I've been out of control lately and it's showing. I tried on my jeans the other day

and I couldn't sit down. So jeans are expensive. I'm not trying to buy any new ones. So the only

thing I could do is change my habits. And so I'm doing that. And also it's just good for your

health in general. We're not meant to be sitting all the time. So if you feel this way, start walking outside. Now that the weather is getting a little better, at least in Southern California, where I live, it's getting better. I know in some other states and cities, the weather's not as great, but there's all like those walking pads. When you're scrolling on TikTok, you could just be walking on your walking pad and putting those steps in because we're not meant to sit out at our desk all the time and I think that's the downfall of America. Just kidding, everything else is the downfall of America. But here we are trying to make the best out of it. I also feel like the seasonal depression is exiting my body and I'm feeling like myself again.

my birthday's coming up. I'm turning 35 where the time go. Today I posted that I booked my trip for
