The disciples were obsessed with a political perspective that kept them from hearing what Jesus was saying.

It wasn't until the day of Pentecost that the reality of what Jesus said broke into their consciousness

But once it did they were never the same again

I pray that we have a similar experience with the Lord in the days in the weeks ahead

That there would be such a transformation in our hearts that we'll become unrelenting advocates for Jesus that we'll

begin to gather and pray with such a determination asking God for boldness that the places where we

gather to pray will be shaken with the power of God. It's time church.

You know, I'm very aware that as we gather today,

that there are many disappointed because it seems that Donald Trump

will not serve another term as president.

I'm equally aware that there's another group of people that are every bit as ecstatic

because Joe Biden will serve a term as president. And the truth around it all is until the election drama is

resolved we haven't been able to focus our attention on what God is doing.

We've had a rather primary filter and it's been difficult to see beyond it.

Just as a quick reminder, COVID-19, unemployment, the closing of our schools,

lawlessness, violence, immorality, censorship, widespread deception,

trampling upon our civil rights, the closing of churches.
