When the water is deep and dark, you never know what eyes are looking up at you from below.

This world is a strange one.

My dad used to work at a water reservoir overlooking a big lake.

The things he heard from his co-workers are frightening, to say the least.

On one occasion, one of the guys heard the screaming and howling of an animal they couldn't

identify.

Another man saw a massive creature swimming in the water, but stalked up onto the land

and disappeared into the woods.

My dad, on the other hand, saw a large shadowy figure step across the lake path.

Apparently some lakes are filled with monsters, just as these allegedly true stories of lake

monster attacks are about to show us.

As a lifeguard, I've been wanting to share my story, but I'm just now getting around

to it.

To start off, I'm a 17 year old female lifeguard.

I'm 5'7 out of 115 pounds.

I'm known to be creative and an out-of-the-box thinker, and I like to think I'm knowledgeable
