| 0:00.0 | Welcome to the happiness podcast. I'm Dr. Robert Puff. |
| 0:15.0 | If you're a regular listener to this podcast, you may have noticed that I skipped last week. |
| 0:20.0 | I skipped that week because I was on vacation in Switzerland. |
| 0:23.0 | You may not know this, but there's a World Happiness Report |
| 0:26.8 | produced by the UN which began in 2012, |
| 0:30.0 | and it ranks 158 countries on happiness. It's really not the same thing we're talking about here because it's based upon income, life expectancy, government corruption. |

| 1:37.0 | If we look at things as things need to go a certain way and then they don't, we're going to suffer. |
| 1:43.8 | So the first thing we need to do is lower expectations. |
| 1:48.2 | But we'll probably still have a few. |
| 1:50.2 | For example, when we arrived to Switzerland, I had made hotel reservations, and when I got there, |
| 1:57.3 | there was no one there to check in. I had rented a two bedroom apartment so that we could all |
