I'm Cy Kellett, your host, and we're going to be doing something a bit different today on the 50th, 503rd.

I beg your pardon, a little trouble there.

On the 53rd anniversary of the Roe versus Wade decision, we thought we'd take the first hour

to commemorate that decision and the aftermath of that decision, maybe even celebrate its

overturning nearly four years ago.

But mostly we thought, let's try to have a nice, calm conversation in which we invite our pro-choice listeners to hear again the pro-life position.

Because one thing that we have learned over the years here at Catholic Answers is people are willing

to listen.

People are good at heart.

Most people are anyway.

I won't name the ones that I think aren't, but most people are good at heart and willing

to listen.

And so we have the opportunity not to just rehash all the old arguments, not to just, you know, respond in anger or in the kind of

competition of ideas, but to say, let's see if we can phrase the pro-life argument in a way

that will maybe move the needle with you a little bit, if you'll let us do that.

And that's entirely up to you if you would like to listen to that.

But I think the essential question we want to ask today, as pro-life people who are asking,

hey, could you listen to this one more time and see if we can move the needle a little bit

with you?
