Summary

"If you just trusted people a little bit more, you would have more time, you would have more energy, and you could return home to yourself."

We live in a culture that rewards fixing, striving, and holding everything together, yet the truth is that many women are exhausted not from doing too little but from carrying too much that was never theirs to hold. In this episode, Heather explores what happens when the identity that once fueled your growth begins to limit your freedom, why trusting others can radically expand your time and energy, and how success, achievement, and emotional satisfaction are often operating on entirely different tracks. From energy hoarding and nervous system recalibration after change to the emotional discomfort of having standards, agency, and self-respect, this episode invites you to stop "shoulding," reclaim discernment, and return home to yourself, not as a destination, but as a daily practice of honesty, surrender, and intentional feeling.

What to listen for:

✨ The addiction to "fixing" oneself and why energy management matters more
✨ Why most people aren't evolving fast enough to keep up with broader changes
✨ Learning how to communicate your value is a skill that more women need

"It is incredibly emotionally uncomfortable for the average woman, let alone the average human, to have discernment, agency, enough self-respect, and high standards on how she lets other people treat her. It actually comes from an identity that you have outgrown."

✨ What really is the finish line for "success," or will the goal post keep moving?
✨ Why "shoulding" on ourselves doesn't help, and how to see it is data to work from
✨ How your life looks on the outside has nothing to do with life satisfaction

"Your feelings and your goals are two different things, and identifying that alone can be a game-changer. More money and achievements aren't going to make you happy. It's so cliché what they say about 'enjoy the journey,' but that's it. How do you want to feel in every moment and every second of the day?"

✨ Why the identity that got you to where you are isn't serving you anymore
✨ The reason our nervous systems get stuck in a "weird" state after change
✨ Getting honest with yourself and surrendering to what's happening

"Parenting feels heavier because you're holding something that's not yours to carry. You've become an energy hoarder, and you don't know how to declutter your energy."

✨ It's our job to become adults and acquire the skills that we want our kids to have
✨ Why we love to act like victims of our lives when the world feels unstable
✨ Control is caused by our lack of wanting to feel our feelings healthily

The world feels unstable, but you react to the world from the inside out. So parenting feels heavier.

0:07.8

That's because you're holding something that's not yours to carry. And you've become an energy hoarder

0:12.7

and you don't know how to declutter your energy. You don't know how to manage it. And I would ask you

0:17.7

why. What I've noticed in my work, especially when it comes to parenting, is the world feels unstable and everything can feel heavier because we're carrying it because we're trying to protect people from things that they should be holding themselves so that they can have their own spiritual journey.

0:45.3

Yeah. so that they can have their own spiritual journey. All right. Today is going to be a little bit of a mix of me just talking about all the things.

0:50.8

I have been working behind the scenes with my clients, helping a lot of people get out of

0:55.7

chaos, to be honest. I have a lot of business owners who are having cash flow management

1:01.4

challenges and lead generation challenges. And so we've been coming in and really supporting

1:07.9

businesses and helping them stabilize their income. But what I'm noticing

1:12.4

is this bigger addiction and leadership to fixing themselves instead of learning the core

1:21.8

foundational skill of energy management. And so I will say this, this will be the hill that I die on, is energy

1:31.2

management will save your life because it is not about time management. And it's not necessarily

1:38.1

a new strategy that you need to quote unquote solve your problem. It is a bigger picture at play. And we're living in a time

1:49.1

where the world is changing rapidly at such a pace that the average human does not evolve that

1:58.3

quickly. And so what I'm observing and seeing is that the people who have a low tolerance to change

2:07.0

are having a very, very difficult time pivoting.

2:11.3

And their nervous systems can't handle it.

2:14.7

And their business models cannot handle it.

2:19.8

And because the structure and foundation of their business model was not built on 2026, it is identifying the skill gap in the

2:32.4

leadership. And nine out of ten times those skill gaps are not something that you can learn overnight.

2:40.9

And so this is why I'm a huge, huge fan of energy management and learning how to identify

2:48.8

where your energy leaks are and how to heal them, how to clean them up. Because if you don't
