In this episode, I want to talk to you about 10 characteristics of fateful preaching.

10 characteristics of faithful preaching. Personally, I don't think preaching needs any adjectives modifiers or descriptors that includes topical preaching anointed preaching

expositional preaching whatever label you would put on it, I believe

preaching is preaching. Either it is preaching or it is not. But if I was forced to give some

kind of descriptive term for what I believe preaching should be, it would be the word faithful.

The goal of the preacher should be faithfulness.

The Bible says in 1st Corinthians chapter 4, verse 2, that stewards should be found faithful.

Verse 1st Corinthians 4, Paul describes himself as both

the servant and a steward and then says that it is required of stewards that they be found

faithful. That's the singular duty of a steward. You want to be faithful to the one who's entrusted to you,

any assignment, any resource, any endowment. As we have been called of God to preach,

it should be our consuming passion to be faithful to the one who called us.

That's over the course of a lifetime of preaching as the Lord will allow in his grace and mercy.

And it also should be true of us from week to week.

We should strive to be faithful in our preaching.

What does that look like?

Well, here are ten characteristics of faithful preaching. First, I would say preach as a herald. Preach as a herald.
