My name is Christian Keeter and I live in the southeast of the United States of America with my amazing, beautiful,

godly wife Lacey and our two wonderful daughters, Felicity and Serenity.

All right, well, today let's talk about passion or zeal.

So we certainly know people who are passionate about things, and we ourselves are most definitely

passionate about certain things as well.

Let me just ask you this question. When you say so-and-so is passionate about something and you

might actually be able to have a real person in mind right now when even as I'm saying this,

how can you tell that they are passionate about X, Y, Z, whatever it may be. When you say this person is passionate

about this, what are the metrics that you're using to even make that assessment in the first place?

Well, just a few that came to my mind as I was jotting down thoughts for this episode were things

like this. If somebody is passionate about something, they talk about it frequently. Whatever it may be, it just seems to like keep coming up

with this person. It works this way into their conversation a lot. They experience emotions when

talking or thinking about the object of their passion or of engaging in the activity over which they're

passionate about.

So whenever they're talking about, whatever it is they're passionate about, there is

emotion behind that.

It could be excitement and could be happiness or it could even be something like anger.

So, for example, if somebody is passionate about human trafficking ending and coming to a complete

stop, then they are certainly angry at the fact that it even exists in the first place.

And so that passion works itself out at anger at the injustice and wickedness behind human
