My guest tonight is a theoretical physicist from Caltech. He has a PhD from Harvard.

He has worked on the foundations of quantum mechanics. For some time, he's focused on

the emergence of complexity and the arrow of time. He's been awarded prizes of many sorts from NASA

and the National Science Foundation, the Sloan Foundation, many other societies. He is also

consultant for film and television, and he has written a fascinating book, which unfortunately is not for sale here,
